Resetting your Virtual Desktop
*Resetting your desktop will do a hard reboot on the server side and is more responsive than a restart
Objective:
At the end of this module you will be able to reset your virtual desktop when it freezes or does not login after a restart.

Thin Client
1. First login to the thin client with your firstname.lastname and your JLA password and select Login
2. Once you are logged in then click on your desktop and then select the Reset VM button and wait 2-3 minutes for the operation to complete and reselect your desktop to login
Chromebook
1. After you have logged into the VMware app and before you login to your desktop right click on the desktop icon and then choose Reset Desktop and wait 2-3 minutes for the operation to complete and reselect your desktop to login
Web Browser
1. Once you are logged in and have selected your desktop then click on the gray tab on the left of your screen to expand this window open.
2. Select the box with three lines next your Running desktop name
3. Select the Reset option and wait 2-3 minutes for the operation to complete and reselect your desktop to login
Windows Client
1. After you have logged into the VMware app and before you login to your desktop right click on the desktop icon and then choose Reset Desktop and wait 2-3 minutes for the operation to complete and reselect your desktop to login

Choose the options menu in the top left and select Reset Desktop and wait 2-3 minutes for the operation to complete and reselect your desktop to login
