Set MFA Verification Defaults
Objective:
To ensure successful sign in to specific Jet Linx resources, you will need to have the Microsoft Authenticator app installed on your phone and registered to your account. This guide will show you how to set your default verification method to the Microsoft Authenticator App.

Navigate to https://myprofile.microsoft.com/ and sign into your Jet Linx Account.
- On the My Account page, select Update Info in the Security info card. Complete any verification prompts if presented.

Verify that the Default sign-in method is set to Microsoft Authenticator. If it is not, select Change.
- If you do not have the option to Change, please refer to the Add Microsoft Authenticator section below.
- In the popup, click the dropdown and select Microsoft Authenticator - notification. Select Confirm.
- Your default verification method has been set to the Microsoft Authenticator app. You now will be able to successfully complete a multi-factor sign-in to Jet Linx Applications.
Add Microsoft Authenticator
If you do not have the option to Change the default sign-in method you may not have setup the Microsoft Authenticator app yet.
- On the Security info page, select + Add method..

Select the Authenticator app from the dropdown and click Add.
- Download the Microsoft Authenticator app onto your phone. It is available from the iOS app store and the Google Play store using the links below. Once downloaded select the Next button.
- Use the onscreen prompts to guide you through setting up the Microsoft Authenticator app.

Once you have successfully setup the Microsoft Authenticator app, you can now set the app as your default sign-in method. Under the Default sign-in method, select Change.
- In the popup, click the dropdown and select Microsoft Authenticator - notification. Select Confirm.
- Your default verification method has been set to the Microsoft Authenticator app. You now will be able to successfully complete a multi-factor sign-in to Jet Linx Applications.
