Login to Meridian FOS Process
This process will all you to login to the Meridian FOS data. After making these changes, you will have to reset your FOS settings to login to the Jet Linx FOS data. That process is outlined below this article section.
- Open a new instance of the FOS login from your VMWare desktop.
- From the menu bar, select Utilities > File Locations > Network Data Directory (FOSBTR)...
- Enter the new name for the data directory as: \\jlafos02\Meridian FOS
- Check the box for "Network Data Directory is Computer User Specific". If this is NOT done, you will get an error when attempting to save this change. Select OK
- If you receive the below error, this is because you didn't check the Network Data Directory checkbox. Please return to step 2 and try again.
- Once the new data dictionary is saved, make sure the Data Directory is set to Network and login with your Meridian FOS ID and password.
Revert settings to login to Jet Linx FOS
This will outline the process of resetting your FOS settings so you can login to the Jet Linx FOS instance
- Open a new instance of the FOS login from your VMWare desktop.
- From the menu bar, select Utilities > File Locations > Network Data Directory (FOSBTR)...
- Make sure the Network Data Directory path is set to: \\jlafos01\FOS\Data
- If it is still set to the Meridian settings, only change the network path, leave the checkbox checked for "Network Data Directory is Computer User Specific". Select OK
- Once the new data directory is saved, make sure the Data Directory is set to Network and login with your Jet Linx FOS ID and password.
